This notice explains how Real Hire, Inc. collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data across our websites, mobile apps, emails, and recruiting tools, and the choices and rights you have.

Overview

Real Hire, Inc. ("RealHire," "we," "us") provides an online employment marketplace that connects employers and job seekers. This Privacy Policy covers data collected through our websites, mobile applications, job widgets and banners, marketing communications, support interactions, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). When we process data on behalf of a customer (for example, sending job alerts for an employer), that customer is the data controller and their privacy terms also apply.

Data We Collect

  • Identity and contact data (name, username, email, phone, address, social profiles).
  • Account and profile data (credentials, preferences, saved searches, job applications, employer account details).
  • Employment and content data (resumes/CVs, cover letters, job ads, ratings, feedback, messages you send through the Services).
  • Technical and usage data (device IDs, IP address, browser/app info, access times, pages viewed, clicks, referring/exit pages, cookies, pixels, and similar identifiers).
  • Location data (general location from IP; more precise location only if you enable it).
  • Transactional data (orders, subscriptions, invoices, payment status). Payment card data is handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Marketing and communications data (preferences, opt-ins/opt-outs, responses to campaigns or surveys).
  • Inferences we derive (e.g., likely interests or seniority based on your activity) where allowed by law.
  • Sensitive data: we do not require sensitive data (such as government IDs, health, or demographic data). Please avoid including sensitive data in resumes or messages unless strictly necessary.

How We Collect Data

  • Directly from you (account creation, applying to jobs, posting jobs, support requests, surveys, contests, referrals, resume uploads).
  • Automatically via cookies, pixels, SDKs, logs, and similar technologies when you use the Services.
  • From third parties (analytics, anti-fraud partners, ad networks, identity verification, social or Connected Sites you authorize, employers/recruiters who use our tools, and publicly available sources as permitted).
  • As a service provider/processor to our customers (we process data under their instructions; contact them directly for their privacy practices).

How We Use Data

  • Provide and improve the Services (set up accounts, match job seekers and employers, process applications, host resumes and job ads, deliver alerts, recommend content, personalize experiences, troubleshoot, and analyze usage).
  • Communicate with you (service messages, support, security alerts, and with your consent where required marketing, newsletters, and surveys).
  • Process payments, subscriptions, and billing through PCI-compliant processors.
  • Protect the Services and users (monitoring, security, anti-fraud, abuse detection, dispute resolution, enforcing terms).
  • Comply with law and legal process (records, reporting, responding to lawful requests, defending legal claims).
  • Advertising and analytics (measuring performance, improving products, and, where allowed, providing targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising with opt-out/consent controls).
  • No solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you without notice; if that changes, we will explain your rights and choices.

Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable): performance of a contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (service improvement, security, fraud prevention, analytics, B2B communications) balanced with your rights, consent (where required for marketing, certain cookies, or sensitive data), and compliance with legal obligations.

TrueDepth and On-Device Processing (iOS)

For our iOS app coaching features, RealHire accesses the iPhone/iPad TrueDepth camera to read Apple-provided face-mesh depth points in real time. Processing stays entirely on your device: we do not copy, export, transmit, or store the RGB frame, depth map, point cloud, raw video, or TrueDepth outputs.

Purpose: we convert per-frame ARKit outputs into on-device metrics such as smile percentage, gaze-alignment percentage, and confidence scores to power live "Smile" and "Eye contact" coaching badges and prompts. These metrics are only used for realtime user feedback and are not sent to RealHire servers or third parties.

Sharing/storage: none. The ARSession feed never leaves the device, nothing is written to disk, and no TrueDepth data is transmitted to RealHire or any third party.

Cookies, Ads, and Preferences

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, to remember preferences, to measure performance, and where permitted, to personalize content and ads. Some cookies come from third parties (e.g., analytics, ad partners, anti-fraud tools).

  • Controls: you can manage cookies in your browser or device settings. Where required, we present consent tools to manage categories (e.g., analytics/advertising) and you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Opt-outs for targeted ads/cross-context behavioral advertising: use our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or ad preferences links where provided; honor browser-based opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where required.
  • Industry tools: you may also use NAI/DAA opt-out tools, but these are browser-specific and cookie-based.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data for money. We may share personal data as described below, including for targeted advertising/cross-context behavioral advertising where permitted and subject to opt-out/consent.

  • Service providers and vendors (hosting, security, analytics, communications, customer support, payment processing, marketing tools, anti-fraud, cloud storage) under contracts that limit their use of your data.
  • Employers and recruiters: if you apply to a job or opt into our resume database, we share your application/profile with the relevant employer or their agents/ATS. If you withdraw, prior recipients may still have copies.
  • Connected Sites you authorize (e.g., if you link accounts or use social sign-in, we receive data you permit and may post as you direct).
  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets) subject to this Policy or a successor that is at least as protective.
  • Legal, safety, and enforcement (to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce terms, protect rights, property, safety, and prevent fraud or abuse).
  • Affiliates within the RealHire group for the purposes described in this Policy.

International Data Transfers

We are headquartered in the United States and may process data in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or similar mechanisms) for cross-border transfers and assess local laws that may affect your data. By using the Services, you understand your data may be transferred to the United States and other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

  • Account data: retained while your account is active; core records may be kept for a reasonable period after closure for legal, security, and audit purposes.
  • Job applications and resumes: retained consistent with our Services and legal obligations; employers may have their own retention periods.
  • Marketing data: retained until you opt out or until it is no longer useful, then added to a suppression list to honor your choice.
  • Technical and analytics logs: retained for shorter operational periods unless needed for security or investigations.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and employee training. No system is completely secure; if we believe your information was involved in a breach, we will notify you and regulators where required.

Protect your account by using a strong password, limiting access to your devices, and notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access, correction, deletion: request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Portability: request certain data in a portable format where required by law.
  • Restriction/objection: in some regions, object to or restrict certain processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent where consent was relied upon.
  • Marketing: opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; service messages will still be sent where necessary.
  • Cookies/ads: manage preferences through browser/device settings and our consent/opt-out tools, including Global Privacy Control where applicable.

To exercise rights, contact support@realhire.app. We will verify your request (and identity where required) and respond within the time limits set by applicable law. If we deny a request where an appeal right applies, you may ask us to review the decision.

US State-Specific Rights

Residents of certain US states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and others as laws take effect) may have additional rights.

  • Know/access, correct, and delete personal data; obtain a portable copy.
  • Opt out of: (a) sale of personal data; (b) sharing or use for targeted advertising/cross-context behavioral advertising; and (c) certain profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. Use our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or ad preferences links where offered, or send a request to support@realhire.app. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.
  • Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information where applicable.
  • Appeal: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will explain our final decision and your options to complain to your state attorney general if applicable.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Nevada residents may opt out of sales under Nevada law by emailing support@realhire.app with "Nevada Opt-Out" in the subject line. Florida residents may submit marketing opt-out requests the same way. We will update this section as additional state requirements become effective.

EEA/UK Rights and Bases

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability, subject to legal limits. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to opt out of marketing at any time.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, but we encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concerns. Contact support@realhire.app and we will route questions to the appropriate privacy contact. If we appoint an EU or UK representative or DPO, we will make their contact details available upon request.

Job Seekers and Employers

  • Job seekers: applications you submit (including attachments) are shared with the employer/agent for that role. If you opt into our resume database, your profile may be discoverable by eligible employers until you opt out; previously accessed copies may persist with those parties.
  • Employers and recruiters: business contact data is used to provide and improve the Services, verify accounts, and communicate about your postings, candidates, and subscriptions.
  • User content: do not include sensitive data unless necessary. You can update or delete resumes in your account; employers may retain copies they received.

Children

The Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact support@realhire.app so we can delete it where required.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you (for example, via email or by posting a notice on the Services) and indicate the effective date. Your continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
